What is the difference between AlSi10Mg and AlSi7Mg?
AlSi10Mg has higher silicon, prints easily and is the common reference. AlSi7Mg (A357-like) usually offers higher ductility after heat treatment and may be preferred in aerospace.
How should aluminium powder be stored safely?
Fine aluminium powder is combustible and absorbs moisture. Store it closed, dry and under inert gas, and use ATEX-compliant equipment for handling and cleaning.
