In short: Inconel® 625 (IN625, UNS N06625) is a solid-solution-strengthened nickel-chromium superalloy with molybdenum and niobium. It combines outstanding corrosion and oxidation resistance with good weldability and is used for chemical, marine, energy and exhaust applications.
